Mrs. Lillo, age 86 years, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017 at McLaren Bay Region. She was born on October 30, 1930 in Monitor Township to the Late Martin and Christina (Reinhardt) Appold. She was an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Alice was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family, as well as volunteering for many organizations. On November 1, 1957, she married John C. Lillo and he preceded her in death on December 5, 2016. She is survived by her sons: Thomas (Misti) Lillo of Idaho Falls, Idaho & James (Tammy) Lillo and their children, Hayley and Jonathan Lillo of Bay City, a brother, Erhardt (Dolores) Appold, a sister, Verna (E. Lawrence) Rosenberg, as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral and Committal Services will be on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 12 Noon at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. The Rev. Theodore E. Voll will officiate. Visitation will be at the church only on Friday from 10 a.m. until service time. Private interment will be in Elm Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church. The family wishes to thank the staff of Bay Shores Nursing Care Center and the staff of McLaren Bay Region-Critical Care Unit for the loving care given to Alice by them.
