Beverly Guan (Walker) Milliken, age 83 years, passed away on June 22, 2016 at Covenant Healthcare-Cooper in Saginaw. She was born on May 27, 1933 in Vassar, Michigan to Ernest and Dora (Nokes) Walker. She married Clare (Fats) Milliken on December 5, 1953. They had 55 wonderful years together before he passed away in 2009. She was a member of Vassar Eagles 2380. She enjoyed making quilts, playing cards and the casino. She is survived by son Marvin Milliken (Leeann), a brother, Gerald Walker, her grandchildren: Tina Putnam (Mike Curtis, Sr.), Tammy Putnam (Keith Crawford), Scott Putnam, Connie Wickings (Steve Martin), Andrea Wickings, Jimmy Wickings, Jr., Jeffrey Wickings, her great-grandchildren: Courtney Heidger, Brianna and Katelynn Kreil, Heather Curtis (Craig Esckelson), Michael Curtis, Jr., Brady and Alexis Putnam and Hannah Wickings, her great-great-grandchildren: Hailee, Ashlynn and Christopher Esckelson, son-in-law, Carl Putnam, Jr. and very special son-in-law, Jim Wickings, also many sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews, special friend, Julie Callahan, mother of Brady and Alexis Putnam. Bev was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Dora Walker, husband, Clare (Fats) Milliken, daughters: Diane (Grandma Dee) Putnam and Vickie (Wee Pee) Wickings, brothers: Lawrence, Clarence, Ernest, Francis, James, Carl, Dale, Bernard and Larry, and sisters: Doris Butterfield and Lillian Liebler. She loved them all. Funeral Service will be on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Penzien-Steele Funeral Home, 149 N. Main St., Vassar, Michigan. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, June 26, 2016 from 5-9 p.m.
