Patriotic Emblem

Brian Howard Sharp, age 44 years, passed away unexpectedly on January 7, 2014 at his home. He was born in Scotland on September 26, 1969. Brian Proudly served in the United States Army. He was a member of Vassar Lodge No. 163 F. & A.M. Brian enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his mother, Pamela (Steven) Radick, his father, Charles W. (Sandra) Sharp, Jr., his siblings: Todd (Misty) Sharp, Charles W. (Candace) Sharp, III, Tim (Priscilla) Sharp, Steven (Jessica) Radick, Andrea (Paul) Holt and Megan Sharp, his nieces and nephews: Rachel Pardue, Samantha Sharp, Brandi Sharp, Chase Rice, Christopher Sharp, Carson Holt and Ryland Simmons, as well as his great-nephews: Brendan Sharp and Kyle Pardue. Brian was preceded in death by his special friend and companion, Kodiak. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Vassar. The Rev. David Somers will officiate. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until service time. Private burial will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly. Memorial contributions can be made to the family. Arrangements are in care of Penzien-Steele Funeral Home in Vassar.
