Carole Ann Stitcher, 76, passed into Jesus's healing hands on April 24, 2017 where she joins her parents, Ray and Virginia Stitcher, who predeceased her. She was born in Bay City, MI on September 20, 1940.
Carol lived at the Candlestick Lane facility where she was called, "Stitch" and loving and affectionately cared for, for 31 years. Her family of Staff and housemates there will miss her laughter and presence, as will her sister Marilyn M. (Don) Mueller, who survives her, as well as nephews Mark W. (Colleen) Mueller, Pinckney, MI and David M. Mueller, West Branch, MI and grandnieces Jessica and Josie Mueller, grandnephew David A. (Christine) Mueller.
Carole's family wishes to whole-heartedly thank the Staff and housemates of Candlestick House for being her family for 31 years, St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church for answering Carole's spiritual needs, Catholic Family Services and All American Hospice. These groups have gone above and beyond in love and care.
Visiting hours will be Friday, April 28, 2017 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Penzien-Steele Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery. A service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to All American Hospice or St. Catherine of Siena Church.
