Daniel M. Michalsky passed away at McLaren Bay Region on October 14, 2017. Our loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend was born October 10, 1945 to the late Walter and Dorothy (Binkley) Michalsky.
A 1963 graduate of Bay City Central High School, he honorably served his country in the U. S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Afterward, he attended S.V.S.U. where he earned his Bachelor's Degree.
Dan retired as a Journeyman in the Tool Maker trade from General Motors-Powertrain in Bay City after 38 years of service. He was a member of the U.A.W. Local 362.
He had many interests and associations including memberships in several different rock and gem clubs and attended various rock shows as well.
A kind, gentle, easy going man who always saw the good in others. Dan was quick to make friends and left a lasting impression on those he encountered with his infectious smile and quick wit. He was a free spirit who marched to the beat of a different drum but was a virtuous, philosophical man with immense integrity whose only desire was to make the world a better place.
