Dorothy Charlotte Frazier, age 77 years, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 17, 2015 after an extended illness. She was born July 11, 1937 in Upland, Indiana to the late Chester and Alta (Tippey) Nelson. Dorothy was a member of First Baptist Church in Vassar, had worked as an X-Ray Technician and enjoyed crocheting. She was active with the American Diabetes Association and started a chapter in the Vassar area. On March 16, 1957, she married Donnie Lee Frazier in Vassar and he survives her. She also leaves 4 children: Susan (Friedhelm) Illian, Karen Lippard, Darlene (Mike) Rapp and Theresa (Al) Lopez, 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, a daughter-in-law, Suzanne Frazier, a sister, Donna (Dick) Florea as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 sons: Ronald Lee Frazier and Donald Alan Frazier. Visitation will be on Friday, April 24, 2015 from 10 a.m until 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Vassar. The funeral service will take place at 1:30 p.m. with cremation to follow. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association. Arrangements are entrusted to Penzien-Steele Funeral Home, Vassar.
