Emilio Andrew Gomez, Jr. passed away on November 3, 2016 at his home at the age of 59. He was born in Bay City, Michigan on October 23, 1957. He had worked at Eaton Manufacturing as a machine set-up man.

Junior was an amazing person. He touched so many people's lives in a positive manner. He was the rock and the leader for his son, parents, siblings, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Always there to help anyone when they needed a helping hand.
If you knew Junior you were blessed. He was very friendly, loving and smart. He loved to entertain people by cooking on the grill and playing all of his music all night long. He would show us his corny videos that he thought were so funny. Mija come here. Check this out. Let me show you this. We would reluctantly say okay Junior. Videos were so silly. He also enjoyed music, dancing and spicy hot food. But biggest of all he was a true SPARTANS fan. He and his son Cody had a big rivalry. Cody go Blue. Junior would tease Cody about UM that they were going to lose. Cody didn't like the bantering so he would come back with his own comments to his dad.

Memories. These are some of the memories of Junior. I could go on and on. He will be missed immensely. We all love you Junior. See you later.

Survivors include his son, Cody Kilpatrick, his parents, Emilio and Venancia (Zarasua) Gomez, Sr., his siblings: Elizabeth Cantu, Andrew Gomez, Christina (Art) Teneyuque and Sandra (Waymon) Jones, his former spouse, Fran Gomez and his nieces and nephews: Alex, Diana, Martine, Fernando, Vanessa, Rachael, Amber, Christopher, Derek and Ashley. He was preceded in death by a sister, Theresa Gomez.
