James Arthur Geiersbach, age 72 years, passed away Thursday afternoon, December 8, 2016, at McLaren Bay Region. He was born on December 25, 1943 in Bay City the son of the late Louis and Margaret (Smith) Geiersbach. Jim was a veteran of the US Army. He was witty, always a jokester, who loved music and playing his guitar. Surviving family include his son, Jim (Sarah Stamps) Bublitz; grandson, Josh Bublitz; sisters, Kayann Smith and Darlene (David) Dishaw; a special cousin and friend, Gary Adamczyk and several nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his sister, Janet Galus. The family will greet friends at the Penzien-Steele Funeral Home from 3:00 to 5:00 on Tuesday, December 13, 2016.
