Janice Lea Wojcik, age 69 years, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, December 25, 2017 at her home. She was born on March 22, 1948 in Bay City, the daughter of Robert and Marlan (Barclay) Buzzard. On August 3, 1968 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, James Wojcik. Jan enjoyed sewing, reading and crafts. She loved spending time with her family, grandsons and friends.

Surviving family include her husband of 49 years, James; daughters, Lisa (Richard) Coonrod and Jenny (J) Slough; grandsons, Markus Gloria (special friend, Hayleigh Cooper) and Nickolas Lewis; her father, Robert Buzzard; many loving brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews and her special companion, Ginger. Jan was preceded in death by her mother, Marlan Buzzard.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at the Penzien-Steele Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Heartland Hospice.
