Jo Ann Bergmann, age 67 years, passed away Saturday morning, October 21, 2017 at Bay City Comfort Care in Bay City. She was born on August 16, 1950 in Flint, Michigan. On October 15, 1993 she was united in marriage to Michael R. Bergmann. Jo enjoyed animals, spending time at the gym, weightlifting, reading, shopping and listening to music. She retired from Consumers Energy after 40 years of service. Jo was a member of the Living Word Church in Midland.

Surviving family include her husband, Michael; mother, Mary Smith; siblings, Carol Fleming, Bonnie (Charles) Marshall, Shirley (Dick) Debniak, Jesse (Judee) Smith, Deb (Phil) Harbert, Marti (Dave) Larson, Jan (Rod) Miller and Janine (James) Bass; brothers-in-law, Dan (Sue) Bergmann and Alvin (Debra) Bergmann; sister-in-law, Lisa Bergmann and many loving nieces and nephews. Jo was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Frank Fleming.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the Living Word Church, 2010 N. Stark Rd. in Midland. The family will greet friends at the church on Thursday from 12 noon until the time of the service. The Rev. James Randolph officiating. Private burial will take place at Fremont Cemetery in Bay City. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Hometown Hospice.
