Kerry Jean Brown, age 71 years, passed away unexpectedly on October 24, 2016 in Roscommon, Michigan. She was born in Norfolk, Virginia on July 13, 1945 to the late Carl and Jean (Lewis) Weber. Kerry was an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church, serving on its Altar Guild and Historical Committee. She was a master needle-pointer and published a book of needlepoint patterns entitled "Centennial Stitching". She was a former member of the Bay City Garden Club. Kerry had great interest and vast knowledge of the history of many Bay City families. On October 19, 1986, she married Randall Brown, D.D.S. and he survives her, after having just celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary. She also leaves her sons: Jeffrey S. (Shawn) Brown and Randall W. Brown and fiance, Meghan McDevitt, her grandchildren: Jack and Mia Brown and Aidan and Avery London, a brother, John R. (Margaret) Weber and Nancy (Jeffrey) Taylor, a sister-in-law, Barbara (Bill) Kanaga, her niece and God-daughter Allison Schwartz and, nephew Geoffrey Schwartz, nephew Eric (Kristin) Kanaga, niece Emily (Brian) Sherman, niece Tamra (Louis) Weber and nephew Gregory (Jennifer) MacKay. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church. The Rev. Susan C. Rich will officiate. Visitation will be at Penzien-Steele Funeral Home on Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to Trinity Episcopal Church Altar Guild or Trinity's Historical Committee.
