Linda Lee Neville, age 72 years passed away peacefully Friday, November 17, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born on June 17, 1945 in Ferndale, Michigan the daughter of the late William and Ruth Vaern. On August 22, 1964 she was united in marriage to Charles J. Neville and he survives her. Linda began her career in health care as a LPN at Bay Osteopathic Hospital and would eventually become a Registered Nurse and retire from the Bay County Medical Care Facility as the Director of Nursing. She enjoyed quilting, baking, fishing and hunting and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving family include her husband, Charles; daughter, Kimberly (Michael) Barnhart; son, Christopher (Mary) Neville; grandchildren, Kyle and William Neville, Allison and Jacob Powers and Kaylee Barnhart; a great-grandson, Asher Neville; sister, Fern Gerding; brothers-in-law, David Neville and Gary (Susan) Neville and many nieces, nephews and friends. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and mother and father-in-law, Charles and Jean Neville.

Funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the Penzien-Steele Funeral Home. Pastor Joe Atchinson officiating. The family will greet visitors on Monday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 12 noon until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Camp Fish Tales.
