Louise Joanne Donley, age 72 years, passed away peacefully Monday, January 19, 2015, at her residence. She was born on January 26, 1942 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of the late Edward and Violet (Luark) McPherson. Louise was employed at Lapeer Metal Stamping for 33 years, retiring in 2004.

Surviving family include her children, Nancy Donley, Michael (Linda) Donley, Mary (Wade) Gingell, Donald (JeanAnn) Donley and Sonya Carbeno; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; also surviving are her twin sister, Lois (Willard) Judd, sister, Nancy Chamberlin; a brother, William McPherson and many nieces and nephews. Louise was preceded in death by her son, baby Donley; a brother, Edward McPherson and a sister, Sharon Roberts.

Funeral service will be 12 Noon on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the Penzien-Steele Funeral Home, 149 N. Main St. in Vassar. Pastor David G. Somers officiating. The family will greet friends on Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Private burial will take place at Montrose Cemetery.
